Okay this is my first attempt at making dinner rolls using my bread maker. So here are the things I’m concerned about. It says to let rise in a warm place, but my kitchen isn’t really warm, any ideas? Oven on low with door open maybe?
Also it says to put the shaped dough onto greased pan? What type of pan? Muffin ( the large gourmet tins) or baking sheet?
Please help. Thanks in advance
Turn the oven on low for a minute of two, then turn it off. This should heat the oven to a decent temperature.
The pan you use depends on that kind of rolls you are making.
You can make nice free-form rolls that bake on a baking sheet or in muffin tins. Parker House, braided, crescent and pan rolls are good examples of this.
You can make nice pull-aparts in muffin tins. Cloverleaf, butter flake and pullman rolls are examples here.
Sweet rolls like this should be scaled somewhere between one and one and one half ounces.
