Well, I am 12 almost 13, and my sister wanted to get me the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker for Christmas! I was wondering if it was any good? Or is the Easy Bake Oven better?
I am also getting other stuff like gift cards and stuff for Christmas, so no worries, I am fine with this gift!
Also, I guess if I got them, I wouldn’t really use them, but my sister is just thinking of getting one for me. The age group is 8-13 years of age.

Does anyone have any ideas as to a recipe that would be suitable to use with the Girl Gourmet Cupcake maker? i.e. in the microwave for 30 secs? i know the thing doenst bake them, just decorates them, but if there is a recipie outthere that will enable me to still let my kid mix the batter and place one individual muffin cup in the baking tray the thing comes with and bake it in the microwave, would be great. kthxbye.

i read the reviews and they say its a waste of money. What do you guys think?

I would say that "waste" is a relative term in this situation. I personally decide that something is a waste of money if it’s never used and not just by what you get with it.

My cousin (who is eight) recieved this product for Christmas and LOVED it. She’s since used everything that came with it and purchased the refill mixes, etc. In that situation, I would say no money was wasted. My god-daughter who is thirteen, however, wasn’t so impressed and prefers the real oven. Her Girl Gourmet is gathering dust somewhere in their kitchen!

Basically it comes down to this: It all depends on who you’re buying for.
