Peanut Butter Popcorn. I made it this weekend and it was wonderful. My husband thought it would be good adding chocolate chips to it, but I think is was fine the way it was. It took me about 4 days to eat it all, but it tasted fine after that time, so that would be a bonus since you're giving it as a gift.

Make Carmel Corn... I made this for a party one time, and the guests practically went nuts for it. Tastes like the stuff you buy for a couple dollars a box, except better and no chemicals. You can gift in those white coated boxes with a pretty ribbon.

Gourmet Candied Popcorn Serves 8

1 cup unpopped pop corn (5 quarts popped)
11/2 cups peanuts
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown corn syrup
1/2 teas. each: baking soda and salt and vanilla extract

Pop corn in air popper or in oil.
Placed popped corn and peanuts on large baking pans or roaster.
Meanwhile in a separate pan:
Melt butter and stir in sugar and corn syrup in saucepan. Bring to a boil, Boil for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in soda, salt and vanilla.
Pour Sugar mixture over popped corn and peanuts, stir well.
Bake 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool. Store in an airtight container. Yum….
